“We are both recovering still and there are things that will take a while, but we are getting there,” McCready said. “There is incredible support flooding from everyone involved. It’s certainly a huge help.”
The accident has made McCready appreciate her friends and family more than ever, which she calls a “blessing in disguise” because it has also strengthened her faith.

I didn't get a story written about me when I was flown to Shock Trauma in Baltimore and then spent nearly a month at Chesapeake Rehab. Why are these people special?
Because these kids come from good families and do good around the community, I'm sure you have quite a different story behind your accident.
What about naming the little creep that ran them down and later joked about it?
