Dirt Bike Trail Car Driver Arrested for Handgun Violation

On June 26, 2016 the Baltimore Police Department’s Fox Trot spotted numerous dirt bikes and ATV’s attempting to fuel up at the Eagle gas Station located at 1400 Washington Boulevard at Bush Street.

At that time, patrol units were called in, in an attempt to apprehend some of the riders.

One vehicle that was with the dirt bikes and ATV’s served as the “trail vehicle”. Trail vehicles are those vehicles that ride with large dirt bike groups. Their purpose is to help disrupt traffic, video dirt bike activity for social media purposes, and aide and assist the dirt bike riders in any way.

Officers were able to stop the trail vehicle. The driver of that vehicle surrendered an identification card and attempted to pull off. Officers removed that driver from the vehicle. Located underneath that driver was a loaded .38 caliber revolver.

Officers arrested 28 year old Antonio Woods of the 2500 block of Ellamont Street. Due to his prior criminal history, Woods is prohibited from possessing a firearm.

Antonio Woods is currently in Central Booking and has been charged with various handgun violations. He is currently waiting to see a court commissioner.
