Term limits on all elected jerks, 2 terms only! Then go out and get a real job.

Wnoleheartedly agree. These positions were never intended to be careers but short-term civic duty.

Having to get a real job is why Marko Rubio will run to retain his senate seat. The prospect of having to work scared him to death.

Yes, Yes, Yes - I have said this for years upon years, there should absolutely be term limits, and I don't even think it should be 2 terms, you get one chance then it's on to someone else.

Agreed! But politicians won't even bring up term limits for a vote.

Term limits on our Federal Representatives (Congress and Senate) will have to be done at the State level since they will not voluntarily vote themselves term limits. 12 years total for either branch is sufficient time to inflict enough damage and to line their pockets. Plus, they get their life-long paychecks when they're out of office anyway.

Just my two cents.

If you really believe in term limits then don't vote for a politician running for more.
Any Harris promised to not run after two terms, he lied. Make sure you vote against him or you are a hypocrite.

Absolutely! Our founding fathers never meant for these positions to be career jobs It is not a government of the people if only a small minority is making all the rules and decisions decade after decade They should be limited just like the president.
