Great News For Donald Trump in the State That Could Decide Everything

Donald Trump may be having a tough time in the more conservative caucus states, but he's doing just fine in large, liberal states. He's about to sweep New York's delegates, but one state looms even larger on the ballot- California. How's the Donald doing there? As CBS reports:

Whether that convention is wide open or not likely comes down to California, the last, largest remaining state to vote, on June 7. There, Trump leads Cruz and Kasich as the CBS News Battleground Tracker begins looking at the contest, 49 percent to 31 percent for Cruz and 16 percent for Kasich. At the race's current pace, Trump would need a sizable win there -- as well as strong performances in between -- to clinch the nomination outright.

This is huge news. In the last few weeks, Cruz had closed the gap on Trump, making a California delegate sweep, and the nomination, less likely. But if Trump can win clean sweeps in New York, California, and Pennsylvania, all of Cruz's savvy delegate wrangling and hard work might be for naught.

The strength of the Republican vote is strong in Upstate New York. He'll be visiting Plattsburgh, Syracuse and Watertown. It will be interesting to see how those go.

Is anyone out there other than me concerned for Trump's safety?

I only hope it doesn't go like Wisconsin did. Trump won there and Cruz came in 3rd, but took all the delegates. Talk about voter fraud!

I'm 100% behind Trump, but don't count your chickens before they hatch. It ain't over yet and a lot can happen between today and then.

I thought Iowa and New Hampshire were the most important states.
