Why Salisbury University Police?

The police is investigating it, i knows cuz I seen it.
SU Police, aka The Keystone Cops, were probably the closest to the scene and assisted on securing the site as soon as possible and put out description.

I went by there about that time , all kinds of cops , all depts..

I seriously doubt they were contacted for mutual aid and I seriously doubt they are the lead agency investigating any robbery. What's sad is they are a real police agency in name only. Even though they carry a gun they do not handle real crimes. Ok they investigate Mary's laptop that got stolen in the Student Center, my bad.
For years they were just called "Security" and they wanted to be called 'police' so they got bare minimal training and became certified. BFD!
If they were real cops they would be handling mutual aid calls for Salisbury, Fruitland, Wicomico CSO and the MSP. If you watch any of the reality type shows on the networks you will see them follow many University Police agency. As a matter of fact that Police officer that got shot and killed around Thanksgiving was assisting the city police on this call and they always do mutual aid because they are closer. They are real cops, Salisbury University Police are not real cops. Ed Lashley was hired by the University to be the new chief of police at SU after he retired from the MSP. He has done nothing for the University to advance the police department. They don't even respond to accidents or do radar around the campus. That intersection at Rt. 13 and Bateman Street has the most MVC's due to the college and that should be their first due, but it isn't. Even during the Sea Gull Century put on by the University it is the MSP that blocks that intersection for the bicyclists.
SUPD is a joke and the bottom line is they don't have to be. I know a former city police officer that left the SPD to work at the University because he couldn't handle being half a real cop in the ghetto.

And investigate armed robbery? Lolololololol they barley enforce there own Bs policy.
SU wannabe security will give you a ticket for smoking but pot smoking is ok?
Well.....sounds like the above writers can't get over the fact were turned down on the LE application likely for cowardice.
Especially 11:15 am, wouldn't pass report writing with that rambling comment.
S.U. police have only three patrol vehicles that are of any use. How did they get there on Cushmans or Segways. Come Chief I know you are double dipping and have a HUGE state retirement but take care of your people. You never allowed this b.s. when your were a commander with MSP. You and Little Ernie have more in common all the time. Ernie at DNR that is laughable. At least you did work for a living. Political correctness at its finest.
I'm going to choose my bank by requesting a photo of myself from their own security cameras. If it looks this bad, I don't bank there!
