2 dead in apparent murder-suicide at Texas Air Force base

SAN ANTONIO (AP) — The fatal shooting of two people at an Air Force base in Texas appears to be a murder-suicide, authorities said Friday.

Two bodies were found inside a room of a building at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Bexar County sheriff’s spokesman James Keith said.

It’s believed the shooter is among the two dead, Keith said, adding that sheriff’s deputies and other law enforcement officers are continuing to search the building and nearby facilities.

Not to change the subject completely, but I was stationed at Holloman AF Base in the early to mid 1950's and was there when the most important events of the 20th century occurred (in my opinion).President Eisenhauer made multiple secret visits to Holloman in that time frame and I was present during them all.Every camera and form of communication was seized before his arrival and we were under strict orders to never repeat what we were about to witness. What occurred during each visit was too lengthy to put in a comment, but if you'll take the time to google the purpose for his visits I assure that you will not be disappointed.
