THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN WAKEFIELD HAS ISSUED A WINTER
WEATHER ADVISORY FOR VIRGINIA AND MARYLAND EASTERN SHORE...WHICH
IS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON EST TODAY.

* AREAS AFFECTED: VIRGINIA AND MARYLAND EASTERN SHORE.

* HAZARDS: ONE TO TWO INCHES OF SNOW BEFORE A CHANGEOVER TO RAIN
  LATE MONDAY MORNING.

* TEMPERATURES: LOWS TONIGHT AROUND 20. HIGHS LATE MONDAY IN THE
  LOWER 40S. .

* TIMING: SNOW CONTINUING THROUGH THE MID TO LATE MORNING HOURS
  MONDAY. THE SNOW IS EXPECTED TO MIX WITH THEN CHANGE TO RAIN
  MONDAY AS TEMPERATURES RISE ABOVE FREEZING.

* IMPACTS: HAZARDOUS TRAVEL DUE TO SNOW AND ICE COVERED ROADS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW...SLEET...OR
FREEZING RAIN WILL CAUSE TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR
SLIPPERY ROADS AND LIMITED VISIBILITIES...AND USE CAUTION WHILE
DRIVING.
