Police uncover more victims, new location in Md. child porn investigation

WASHINGTON — As many as 16 children were victimized by a former Prince George’s County school volunteer who faces child sex abuse and child pornography charges, police said Saturday.

Police said Saturday they believe 22-year-old Deonte Carraway, of Lanham, Maryland, victimized 16 children, including one at Zion Praise Tabernacle Lutheran Church in Bowie, Maryland. Police did not describe in what way the child was harmed or exploited.

Police have said previously that Carraway filmed children performing sex acts at Judge Sylvania Woods Elementary School, where was a paid assistant and director of a youth choir.

He engaged in similar behavior at a Glenarden municipal building where he led choir practices. Children were exploited and/or abused at an aquatic center and private homes, as well.

It might be okay in an Islamic country, but not here.

Churches and after school programs, IN ALL SCHOOLS, are the breeding ground for these acts. Children can't be safe anywhere.

The more recent headshots of this perp show a much more puffy-faced look, as if he's been on psych meds for a while.

"Volunteer"?

Or sentenced to community service by the court for another offense and he took full advantage of the opportunity?

If a pervert wants a child ..he or she go where the children are easy to reach.

Schools, parks, churches, skating rinks.

It is amazing how we are the only species in the Animal Kingdom who are frequently shamed as being overprotective of our offspring.

You can ask John Walsh of TV fame. Children can disappear in a heartbeat and you only get one chance to protect your child so don't apologize for it!!!!
