I was hoping somebody else noticed this besides me - I have listened extensively to all the debates and everything in between and they ALL have canned responses that they repeat over and over again. Christie always saying "As a Governor, I'm held ACCOUNTABLE for my actions..." "the boy in the bubble", "as a former Federal Prosecutor," etc. Trump constantly repeating "we never win, we never win...China is ripping us off; Mexico is ripping us off, etc.; I'm going to make this country great again, I'm going to make this country great again," and on and on; Kusich saying "I PROMISE, I PROMISE", etc. All that stuff is par for the course - it's how debates go; Marco Rubio was singled out for his repetitions, but he just happened to put them all together at once instead of spreading them out a bit like the others. It's such a non issue in my opinion - it's much more important to try to ascertain their honesty, character, and leadership ability, rather than being too influenced by the "side show" of debates. I think a voter has to be very careful not to fall victim to the "fluff that doesn't matter" in the public media side shows. We are not voting for, nor are they running for, "Debate Person in Chief" - I'm voting for whoever seems trustworthy to PROTECT this country from its enemies and invaders, which is his or her Number One responsibility, improve our economy, protect the interests of our children in their moral and educational development, preserve or restore the rights of parents and local communities to educate their children, and who has the maturity, attitude, aptitude, and commitment to the Constitution and Bill of Rights, while restoring moral character and common sense as basic guidelines of a functional society. Frankly, it's scarey how some people come to their decision for whom to cast their final vote.
