Cam Newton: #KeepPouting

“MVP” EXPOSED ON AND OFF THE FIELD …

This website has never cared much for the Carolina Panthers. They are North Carolina’s team, as far as we’re concerned. Similarly, we’ve never cared much for Cam Newton – whose 2010 national championship with the Auburn Tigers was tainted by allegations of payments made to his family.

On the other hand, we’ve long man-crushed on Denver Broncos’ quarterback Peyton Manning – whose team won Super Bowl 50 over Newton’s Panthers.

Manning’s NFL-record setting 200th career win wasn’t his most prolific offensive game … in fact the Broncos set the Super Bowl record for fewest yards gained (194) in a winning effort. Manning completed only 13 of 23 passes for 141 yards with no touchdowns and one interception.

But it was Newton’s implosion – on and off the field – that defined this game.

Reminds us of what is wrong with today's culture. It's pretty sad when athletes are put on such pedestals and paid such outrageous salaries. We are reaping what we've sewn when the two most hands on careers teachers and law enforcement get paid what they do and we take young immature kids because they might win us a state, college, pro championship and pamper them

Hey bill cropper this guy too says he's a deeply religious spiritual Guy !! Whatever happened to being humble

Just a whiney, pouting little kid playing a big boys game. Yes, by all means, he needs to grow up and take responsibility if he's going to play with the big boys.

Terrible role model for kids.

I said he acted like a 6th grader and my 6th grader was offended. He and his team mates do not act like that when they lose. He is right - they don't. Cam was shameful!! I am also disappointed that no one in the panthers organization seem to realize this might happen. Cam needs a mentor and fast!!

Yep his interview and comments later were truly sad...he's all pumped up when he wins but a really bad sport when he loses...He needs to learn that very rarely do you always win in life, its a series of ups and downs, its how you overcome the downs that marks the fortitude of a person.

I was impressed by his play all year. I thought the man had actually grown up. I can honestly say I will never watch another game he is in unless it is to see the ravens bust his nugget. He lost any support from me he used this game to play the race card in the week prior. I was shocked he is a horrible role model.

Reminds me of Terrell Owens, who is now trying to rescind all of his antics. 70 million dollars in earnings and a current net worth of 0. UNREAL

I kind of liked him until I heard him play the race card the week leading up to the super bowl that was it for me. He's done screw him.I hope he comes in last place next season.
