Conservatives didn’t understand why George Stephanopoulos asked Mitt Romney questions about birth control during one of the debates back in 2012. It seemed like a bizarre question since it was a non-issue at the time, but it turned out to be foreshadowing of the Democrat strategy to make birth control a central part of the election.
We may have seen the same thing in the New Hampshire debate as liberal moderator Martha Raddatz asked Republican candidates if they thought young women should be forced to sign up for the draft. Surprisingly, Marco Rubio, Jeb Bush and Chris Christie all blundered right into her trap and agreed that we should take the radical step of forcing young women to sign up for a potential draft.
If one of those candidates ends up as our nominee, he would deserve the brutal wave of attack ads Democrats should launch at him for taking such a thoughtless position. He would also deserve to bleed female support – and maybe male support, too. When you start telling fathers that you want to take their baby girls and force them into a situation where violent armed men are going to try to kill them, don’t be surprised when their protective instincts naturally kick in and they decide you’re not someone that they want in the White House.

Woman's equality you got it.
Kasich voters where either Hillary voters or kasich tells you a lot about. The RINO KASICH
I seen this also, how is this guy even running as a republican, Trump needs to blast him about kasich getting x Hillary voters.
So it is now so convoluted that being For women's equality, then you are portrayed as anti-women. What a catch-22 world we live in.
Women wanted equal rights. That includes the draft. If it is called up again, this would be fair.
One of the biggest problems with the younger generation(s) is that there are never any consequences for bad decisions. They are always bailed out and protected.
So perhaps this time the ladies who are fussing about equality, etc will see exactly what it is they are advocating as it rolls around and hits them square in the butt..
And perhaps those who have had a more traditional view all along will get a bit more motivated to stand up for what they believe.
I was listening very closely to the words in the candidates answers to the question of "should women be forced to sign up for the draft?" Unless I am very mistaken, each of them eventually answered that "women should be allowed to sign up for the draft IF THEY WISH." I heard no one say that women should be FORCED or REQUIRED to sign up for the draft. There's a huge difference. Am I the only person who noticed that? Clearly that subject would be researched in great detail before any such requirement would exist. Women were designed to be the primary caregivers and nurturers of the future of our society - our children. To force a woman away from her babies and children would be suicide to the health of our future society - we would instill irreversible damage to the mental health of millions of children and we would pay dearly for that down the road.
It's got nothing to do with being sexist or equal rights or our changing military. It's just another way that 'big brother' wants to get even more information on U.S. citizens., that's all this is folks.
If it ever came to be that women are up for draft, the population in this country would explode since all of them will get pregnant in order to not serve their country.
Maybe we would no longer start useless wars.
If women are eligible for battlefield positions they should be required to sign up for selective service just as the men are and subject to the same penalties if they don't.
11:19 AM: Your view cannot be seen any anything but "sexist" in today's world. You might see it as espousing "conservative values" but saying what a woman's place is, is just sexist. But I do agree with you...and that would make me sexist, as well. It's a sad, sad world that our generation is leaving behind for our children, grandchildren, and all the rest. When the big rock smashes into the earth, or man..whoops, humankind wipes out their own species, none of our brief existence on this planet will really matter. Look at the big picture and don't sweat the small stuff.
