Greed. When the price of oil goes down it takes quite a while sometimes before our local pumps go down in price. When the price of oil goes up the pumps are usually changed that day. Also, OC gas is usually higher than in Salisbury.
Wanna pay less, move elsewhere - as for me it is worth the extra few cents to live in "God's Country" instead of across the bay with them blooming idiots of Balt. and DC
$1.59 at WaWa on South Salisbury Boulevard and $1.62 at the Corner of Pemberton and Parsons. A whole lot better than Pennsylvania where it's probably still close to $1.89.
Transportation costs. Oil products are usually more expensive the further away from a pipeline terminal or marine terminal you get.

Exactly except that it's not "usually" it's that it is more expensive because you have to factor in transport costs. Around Baltimore/Annapolis gas will be less because of the Seagirt Marine Terminal and the Dundalk Marine Terminal being close by.
I use to think that the longer distance from a oil terminal, the higher the cost, until I went by oil city and saw gas higher than in Salisbury. I think a lot has to do with taxes and what profit a station wants to make. I see gas 1.67- 1.71 here in Salisbury.
12:33 trans cost then we should be lower. Balt and DC is north of us in the bay. This is called monopoly allowed by Politians because they have investments in big oil.

It's the shipping costs. Joe. When it comes in by ship in Salisbury, they need to truck it to Annapolis, so we need to pay for that.
Simple as rape. Joe.
