Looks like the same animal that will instinctively jump into ice cold water to retrieve a dead duck. I'm not so sure that he minds the cold as much as people think he does...

Never forget what a Vet told me once.
I said well my dog loves the cold weather
doesn't mind being kept outside.
The Vets reply--" If you're cold then
your dog is cold also! "

Remember Wicomico Cty has a dog law that
says---It's against the LAW to leave a
dog out in 32 degree weather.
So, if you
see one, call Animal Control & make sure the
dogs picked up or it'll freeze to death even
more so with 60 mph winds expected with this
storm.
If you can't get them----call the Police!
Hopefully they'll be humane enough to try to
help the helpless animals!

That is instinct. Leaving dogs out is cruel. It would be like leaving those that jump in the ocean on new years day out doors for the remainder of the day.
