That's a lot of tax dollars for writing speeding tickets...And most are receiving a tax payer paid pension starting at age 40 after retirement and then taking another job and getting tax payer funds again not only enriching themselves off the tax payer but cheating someone else out of a job.

4:20, How is that "cheating" someone out of a job? If that "someone "applies for the job along with others whoever is the most qualified should get the job.

Retirement at 40 is not an option. Maryland State Police retirement is 25 years now. Correctional Officers get 20 year retirement. After retirement, they are highly sought, because they are trained, certified and have state health benefits they are paying for, so it costs other agencies less to employ experienced personnel that have a track record of steady employment and job loyalty.

You should also check the local agencies, because Maryland State Police are no where near the highest paid police organization in Maryland.

Still not enough money for me to get shot at, hated by most people and work shift work. They can have it.
