OCEAN CITY — Out-of-state handgun
Travis Corl, 22, of Howard, Pa., was arrested for allegedly carrying a concealed handgun without a Maryland permit.
OCPD Pfc. Michael Dzurnak pulled Corl over for a broken headlight at 8:20 a.m. on Nov. 30 around 40th Street, according to charging documents.
Dzurnak wrote that he asked Corl if he had a concealed carry permit in Pennsylvania, which Corl apparently freely shared that he did.
Dzurnak then searched the car, finding a Springfield XDS 9mm handgun in the driver’s side map pocket.

Nice try OCPD...if this kid is smart...he will sue you for improper search and seizure...
You pulled him over for a broken headlight....You had no grounds to search his car.
I guess when they run the license check the officer is alerted if the person has a ccw from another state.
And of course, the officer will assume the person has the weapon with him/her.
That's when the harassment begins..
Hope the jury nullifies this. If I were on the jury, he's not guilty of a crime.
If the kid allows the search then it's totally legal.
read the article 12:14am...
The Obama Cop asked the kid if he was concealed carry and than searched his car....
No permission was given...
I bet you voted for Obama too!!
