Seminar for caregivers of the memory impaired

Stories Love Music, a seminar on the power of music, designed for the family and professional caregivers of the memory impaired, will be held at two locations in December.

The program will be presented on Tuesday, Dec. 1, at MAC Inc., the Area Agency on Aging in Salisbury; call 410-742-0505, ext. 113, to reserve a space. In addition, the program will be presented on Wednesday, Dec. 2, at the Ocean City Senior Center; call 410-289-0824 for reservations. Both programs will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Space is limited and reservations are required.

Award-winning producer, singer and songwriter Ilyana Kadushin will present the seminar on how to engage memory impaired people, both musically and verbally, and how to reduce the stress of caregivers through music and storytelling.

The cost is $5 payable at the door, and includes morning coffee and a boxed lunch.

The program is being presented by MAC Inc. and the Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore.
