Salisbury News has just learned there have been a total of around 900 votes cast the entire day so far throughout the entire City.
Will they come out in the masses after work, time will tell. However, I highly doubt it. We predicted a record low turnout last week.
Maybe when all is said and done we can get Governor Hogan to purge to registered voter list and get Jake Day to provide the citizens a real and accurate renter population, which we believe is over 80%. How embarrassing.

I live in Delaware but I will try to vote anyway just to boost the turnout.
Briefly, who is Jake Day? I already know about the gay guy in Salisbury from the various news outlets.
I believe some of the reason for low voter turn out is partly a general lack of concern, but another reason I believe is also important is the fact many citizens feel they really don't have many if any quality candidates to select from. It truly is a very sad state of affairs when there is no other candidate to run for mayor other than Day.
For me, and today I found out also for many citizens, we prefer not to cast a vote for Fake Day rather than selecting to put an "X" beside his name.
Any candidate that would accept money from outside this county in order to "win an election" is telling me in no uncertain terms, that they are a candidate that can be easily bought. These so-called business leaders say loud and clear buy me, buy me I promise you I will roll over and vote the way you want me to. Folks, are these truly the can of quality caliber of people we want on this council? I know I don't.
The wife and I predicted it when Ireton and Mitchell, Shields too, with Day's blessing forced the city to swallow 5 districts.
They will offer excuses galore, like "the mayor's race and a council seat was unopposed".
Bla, bla, bla.
Now we can only pray for Salisbury, especially that Ireton's campaign sunk with the city he destroyed.
Not one update on WBOC what a joke they are
Salisbury is a hole.
Md is a hole. Typical slum hole Salisbury! so, what you expect. You all Elected Tax suckers, so you Get what you deserve. Fruitland is not any greener. It is the state
Purge away, but the turnout still sucks.
I am waiting for the count per district so I can find out if I won the bet about how few votes it will take to get a person on the council. Looking forward to my seafood dinner in OC!
Any results yet?
There is probably only about 1,000 eligible voters in the city limits anyway. The rest of the home owners have fled to the county. Only renters and non-registered bums live in the town limits
Mazzullo wins
When will the results be available?
8:33, You people are so full of crap. 81% of the votes are in and Jim is up 60 to 40.
Joe if what your stating is true, then the damn thing got rigged again. So ridiculous. I absolutely knew of no one that was voting for Ireton. Matter of fact did not vote for Day either, I did as I said I would do, I wrote in Joe Albero.
Honestly......it really doesn't matter......there is nothing to really save salisbury.....put who you wish into office.....no large company is going to come to the shore.....it's not being negative it's just the plain truth. So much damage has been done be it at the local or state level. Were to begin?.....save what little is left for starters.......push to undo the bypass!!!!.....unfortunately this is a decades old failure at many levels.....if ireton wins tonight it's just proof that the majority of you have your heads in the sand..........
Hahaha. Take a look at the results. Sesame Street here we come and but is leading the charge.
Tim to start blasting jim at meetings.
Did that disqualify your ballot by writing in a candidate not in the running?
I hope not, but I just left the mayoral 'race' blank.
An interesting question for the Board of Elections...
No, it does not disqualify your vote to write in someone not running. It at least makes a statement.
Something IS WRONG The tally shown for the various districts shows no write in for my district. I know for a fact that I wrote in. I voted around 9 & this was posted around 5
