Have received no campus alert to this effect and I am a current SU student.
Mayor and police cheif will Recategorise it to a minor injury istead of a possible OD.
A 16 yr old in college? Not in today society, and certainly not with common core... There is something wrong here, Most college kids are on average 17 or 18 on up... I am not saying a 16 yr old cannot be in college, but I hardly doubt it... Remember this is Salisbury where nothing but stupid people live...

I dont see anywhere that it says it was an SU student.
It was a Parkside High School student
Police have confirmed it wasn't a homicide, so if you consider yourself a responsible blogger, then you ought to at least update this post to say that! Cops said it was a "medical" condition that led to the boy's death.
Who, on the police, force is qualified to determine a "medical condition" as the cause. At that, the EMS providers can't provide a cause either, that's the job of the ME. They can hypothesize, with known facts, but it seems a little early just to write it off.
Well said 12:41 PM!!
12:26 PM you can get lost now!
11:45 you need some serious meds!
11:45. Not to take the place of this post but I have a 16 year old college student at Wor-wic. Advanced beyond his/her years and very articulate. Stop making accusations about common core. Most 16 year old grew up with no child left behind as common core only came into existence last year. Salisbury does have good kids with good families that can excel at a young age!
the boy has a history of seizures
Thank you for your post 9:12PM. I have a 15 year old who is a junior in high school and has been attending Wor-Wic during the Summer. Although, to be honest, I don't expect anything better than stereotyping and negativity from the people who comment on here everyday.
I'm saying a prayer for this young man and his family. Way too young to die, this is sad. I am sorry for your loss.
I started college at 16, and my younger sister started at 12. She took a math class, and got an "A"' grade.
So it isn't entirely unheard of.
