Mr. T. William's CV seems a little lite IMHO. He seems to have been relying on failed attempts at rent stabilization/control. The attempt in College Park, Md was taken off the books in 2014 as an utter failure. Will he be advocating for food and fuel stabilization next? Most incorporated cities have much higher rental rates than the surrounding county areas. Govt. attempts to control supply and demand will always have negative consequences and most often adversely effect the poor.

This election year proposal is sickening, trying to buy the votes of poor/diadvantaged people by giving false hopes AGAIN!!

Ireton is a gay version of O'Malley..he is turning Salisbury into an eastern shore version of Baltimore.

I have a prior commitment and won't be able to attend. Is this session re-broadcasted on PAC14?

You should charge landlords a fee that is equal to the homeowners taxes they pay. Example, what is the average tax that a homeowner pays in the city. It is much higher then the average rental home. So make the landlord fee higher to equal to pay for the services, instead of the homeowner paying more to service the rental house. It has worked in s many other areas, oh but wait we are too stuck int he past to do that.

If you lower the rent be careful what you will get that wants to pay that lower rent..
