Upon contacting Smith and during the course of the traffic stop, S/Tpr. P. Zimmerman detected a strong odor of marijuana emanating from within the vehicle. A search of the vehicle was conducted subsequently yielding 5.2 pounds of marijuana. Smith was arrested for CDS Possession of Marijuana, CDS Possession. with intent to distribute, and transported to the Princess Anne Barrack for processing.
Smith was then taken before the Somerset County District Court Commissioner for his initial appearance, whereas he was held on $15,000.00 secured bond.

5.2? Where is the rest of it? That number is so off the wall. Whole pounds are what's transported. Maybe half pound I.e. 5&1/2 pounds. And this is treated like a big deal. As this state pooper arrested this guy 25+ heroin dealers drove by and the big shipment of dope drove right by. Time you idiots and the cops see what's truly the problem and quit applauding your buddy cops over a weed bust. It's like telling your kid good job for coloring in the lines when they're 14 yrs old.

George Nelson is a lazy, mouthy bum who claims to be a conservative but sucked up to the Democrat Sheriff for the promotion.
That's why you do a complete walk-around and light check of your vehicle before leaving, whether you've got a joint in your pocket or not.
Another waste of taxpayers money. Those thousands spent could have been better used for elementary education.
