Donald Trump canceled his appearance Friday evening at a major campaign stop for the GOP presidential field in South Carolina as he faces criticism from both Republican and Democratic candidates over his failure to address claims that President Obama is a Muslim and "not even an American."
Trump’s campaign announced in a statement Friday he no longer plans to speak at theHeritage Action Presidential Forum at the Bon Secours Arena in Greenville.
“Mr. Trump has a significant business transaction that was expected to close Thursday,” the campaign said. “Due to the delay he is unable to attend today’s Heritage Action Presidential Forum. He sends his regrets and looks forward to being with the great people of South Carolina on Wednesday in Columbia."
He will miss the event amid outcry from both parties that he did not correct comments made by two men at a Thursday night rally.

Trump straighten Up.
Hillary started the whole Muslim thingy.
Can you fools not read between the lines?
Where did it say on Trumps release that he cancelled because of the Muslim thing??
Stop letting the media drag you around like a dork.
The beginning of the end.
The country is on a downward spiral notebooks and the tit for tat media is concerned about this bs.
The beginning of the end. The emperor has no clothes and it is becoming obvious.
There are numerous artifacts from obummers college days that state in plain English that he was born in kenya. Photos of which were readily available on the internet during the FAKE birth certificate fiasco. And even his own grandmother stated that he was born in kenya, so why do all of you liberal loonies continue to deny the indisputable fact that that clown was BORN IN KENYA?! Your hero is a fraud, and those who worship him have $HIT for brains.
Let Obama defend himself.
And you 7:35 will elect Hillary. It would never matter where he was born because he was born of a US woman making him a citizen. Idiot
I don’t believe many candidates would have expressed that sort of view a year ago. I believe Donald Trump has opened a can of worms here. People are not as afraid to express these views out in the open now. This is why I don’t think a debate performance will really hurt Trump in the polls. I wasn’t particularly worried about the effect his debate performance would have on poll numbers. The kind of people that are affected by how eloquently somebody speaks are not the people supporting Donald Trump. It’s not because they are uneducated, it’s because they see what trusting the well versed, politically correct candidate has led us to. I think they are tired of the guy that excelled on the debate team. All you heard about when Obama was running was how great of an orator he was. People are sick of that. They don’t want the guy with the doctorate in liberal philosophy. They want the strategist. They are not looking for the guy with the grand plan on paper, or the one with the best thesis paper. They want the doer, not the scholar. At the end of the day, scholars are meant to be advisers, not executors. When you put the scholar in the position of executor, you get what we have now. We need somebody that can assess the battlefield and see the best strategy through all the chaos. In the volatile business world, Donald Trump has lived the chaos and came out on top. In the political world, he will do the same.

Maybe before you take to calling someone an "idiot" it would be prudent for you to know what you are talking about.
It's not just simply having a parent who is a US citizen that automatically grants a child born outside of the US citizenship in this country.
There are real issues to talk about, and Trump knows what they are. The birther and religion things have no bearing on who the next President will be nor where the new President will lead the Country.
They are just plain non-issues, and Donald knows it!
Rabble rousers will still try to rouse rabble, though.
(I'm tempted to use all caps on this post, but I won't):
What in God's name does this have ANYTHING to do with being President of the United States?
I am so damn sick and tired of the press asking "gotcha" questions that I could scream.
Trump usually handles this nonsense very well. If I hear him say to a reporter just one time, "What the hell does that question have to do with my running this country?", he'll have my vote and I just might go out and poll for him.
I don't think Trump is afraid of anyone.
8:28 Might want to run that past Ted Cruz. I am sure he will be surprised that the law has changed, according to you.
So what. What if he was born somewhere else. What on earth can be done now. NOTHING. He is the President. He's tour in the white house is almost over. Am impeachment would not change the fact of his presidency. Freaking get over it.
Republicans wake up -- dump the Trump ASAP.
