Escaped tarantula grounds plane near Baltimore

LINTHICUM, Md. (AP) — An eight-legged creature that escaped in the cargo hold of a passenger flight from BWI to Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International grounded the plane and sent passengers onto another flight.

Brian Kruse, spokesman for Delta Airlines, tells The Baltimore Sun (http://bsun.md/1YEfXu6) that baggage handlers noticed a baboon tarantula had gotten out of its container on Flight 1525 Wednesday night.

my wife would have crashed the plane and then set it on fire then burried the remains and blown up the grave.... She hates spiders

In reality they are very fragile creatures and it will hide rather than go in public areas. They could have turned up the AC and it would have gone into shut down mode and not moved. Seems funny to me but like snakes I hate surprises
