Trump told interviewer Scott Pelley that NAFTA is “a disaster” and the agreement shouldn’t exist.
Reports and studies have been in conflict for roughly a decade as to whether or not NAFTA caused millions of American jobs to be lost.
President Bill Clinton enacted NAFTA in 1994, but President Obama has criticized the deal, saying that roughly one million jobs have been lost because of it. FactCheck.Org disagreed with the premise that NAFTA has cost jobs, reporting: “Actually, nearly 25 million jobs have been gained. Nearly all economic studies say NAFTA’s net effect on jobs was negligible.”
Despite being critical of NAFTA, Obama has been negotiating the Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP) — a trade deal he planned to introduce to Congress in the Fall.

Free trade agreements have been a disaster for the working men and women of this country. All the members of the house and senate should be tried in federal court for treason and hung from the gallows for doing this!
I agree 100% with 9:39am and add that if heavy tariffs on imported goods were in place, the American work force might get their jobs back. There is nothing that China, India, Pakistan makes that Americans can't make better, NOTHING! Close the import doors, foreign donations to the servants "Congress and the House" and politics will change for the better. Only foreign interests have representation in Washington, D.C., Americans have few to NONE! Screw FREE Trade, America first and only. Get rid of the traitors in Washington, D.C. of both parties, we as Americans, will have lost NOTHING but constant treachery against ALL American workers.
Career politicians would not be for this, too much special interest money at stake.
