Cummings Still Weighing Senate Run

A Baltimore Congressman is still weighing a run for Senate.

He says his life is about lifting up the spirits of the people of Maryland, and that’s why Maryland 7th District Congressman Elijah Cummings says he is thinking about his political future including running for the Senate seat now held by Barbara Mikulski.

Mikulski announced in March she would not run for a sixth term.

"It is not about me. It is bigger than me, and as you may know, I am a God-fearing man, and I have asked God for discernment and to show me the way, and I'm sure he will," Cummings told WBAL NewsRadio 1090 on Friday.

He has done nothing for MD while in the MD Legislature but screw things up. He got his daughter elected to Baltimore Mayor and see what that brought. He will be worst than the "MOUSE" Mikulski.

God said that you should step own after your present term, and retire.

Just yesterday. So, now you know, Elijah.

Makes sense to me: replace an idiot with an idiot.

Seriously, the Democrat Socialists will have a scrappy primary; hope they really lay into each other.

Republicans need to field an excellent candidate and avoid primary wars.

At least he's old enough that he won't last as long as she did.
