Doesn't a Chinese company own them now?

First it's illegal in the country to film these factory farms. This guy has opened himself to lawsuits and possible jail time. Second, this is one of the reasons I eat a plant based diet and follow the work of dr. T Colin Campbell, dr. Bernard. Finally, when you become plant based its has an immediate effect on our environment more so than any other method including recycling, low flow showers and energy efficient appliances. Enjoy your meat and pork laden cookouts this weekend!

Expose? It's called Spray Irrigation. As for the color of the waste water? Looks like algea bloom.

That farm in the video, and you really don't know who or what it is they do, (it may be Smithfield, it may not be), is operating in the open. Doesn't exactly look like they're trying to hide anything.

Look, there are agricultural businesses that dispose of their waste illegally. This video just doesn't look like one of them.

I'm with you, 918. The pond is properly lined and whatever is being produced in those buildings, it looks like a very clean, well kept operation.

They could be growing tomatoes in there for all we know.

And, yes, using processing water in spray irrigation is legal, licensed, and regulated.

So, it's all a big, "So,what?"

8:53 Enjoy looking like a bag of sticks with dark eyes, and all of the internal health concerns you will have in your later years.

I'm not a fan of factory farming, as they have government involvement, which leads to bribes, extortion and cheating. I grow all of my own meats, vegetables and even herbs and spices. What I don't grow, I harvest from the land around me.

Strictly limiting yourself to plant based diet is dangerous, but you are an adult, and can do it if you please.

If this is a hog farm, you should be glad they're in these environmentally-controlled barns and not running around in the open.

For those of you on the Shore.. you think a chicken house smells bad?
These piggies can REALLY put out the stink. It would gag a maggot.

Even these barns need to be isolated.

You are right! The smell from chicken houses can be bad but pigs have to be the worse!
