A US official says that air safety investigators have a “high degree of confidence” that the debris that washed up on a remote Indian Ocean island belongs to a Boeing 777, the same aircraft as the missing Malaysia Air Flight MH370, the Associated Press reports.

Their pretty sure it is from that plane because it was the pilots body.
I don't think this is what they say it is. The U.S. government has had plenty of time to plant that 'evidence'. That plane was taken by the U.S. to Diego Garcia because 20-odd Chinese “immigrants” who worked at a top secret electronic warfare contractor in Austin, TX were on that plane headed to Beijing.
