Authorities warn of Felony Lane Gang activities

BEL AIR, Md. —Harford County authorities are warning runners and anyone visiting parks to be extra careful amid a string of car break-ins.

The Harford County Sheriff's Office posted signs at the MA and PA Heritage Trail near Bel Air reminding visitors to stay alert and not be an easy target.

"It's good because people think they are isolated out here, which is a good thing, but there should be safety precautions that should be taken," said Tom Theriault, a visitor to the trail.

Harford County Sheriff Jeff Gahler said a group of criminals authorities call the Felony Lane Gang is stealing from cars parked at day cares, gyms and hiking trails.

"They've been watching people leave their cars unattended. They're checking to see what valuables they see inside the car," Gahler said.

Young men need a cause and when you outlaw Patriotism and pride in Country they will turn elsewhere like Gangs or ISIS.

You need to take care EVERYWHERE in this country. Don't be caught alone anywhere. Don't go out after 10 p.m. in the city or anything.
