Billy Graham's Daughter Issues 'Mayday'

The daughter of America’s most famous evangelist, Billy Graham, says God is “clearly warning that His judgment is coming on America, and it’s going to be ugly.”

So, Ann Graham Lotz is calling on Americans to participate in a “Mayday” time of prayer and intercession May 15-23.

She hopes to “delay or soften God’s judgment that is coming on America and our world” and urge the Holy Spirit to “compel the church to repent of sin and our nation to return to faith in the living God.”

Lotz’s warnings are startlingly specific.

In a recent message on her website, she said she believes Jesus “is soon to return to take all of His followers to Heaven with Him in what is referred to as The Rapture.”

“Institutions will collapse. Banks will close,” Lotz wrote. “The stock market will plunge. Planes will fall out of the sky. Cars will crash on the road. Government in America at every level will disintegrate. Families will be torn apart.

“In the unprecedented turmoil, our nation will be vulnerable for our enemies to seize the moment and attack us. There will be mass chaos, confusion, fear, grief, despair, anger, threats, danger … judgment.”

The Family Research Council is among the Christian groups promoting the prayer campaign. FRC Chaplain Pierre Bynum wrote, “Please take Anne’s call to heart.”

I think the time for prayer is over. Let there be judgement. Sometimes we have to hit bottom before we can see the way up.

She is right.

OMG. This money hungry charlatan is stirring up the base to start the squeeze to line the pockets of the Graham family.

Seriously folks, stop giving credibility to these thieves and liars. They are taking advantage of you by preying on your fears.

They provide broad generalizations and vague references to scare and stir emotional reactions in you... no different from fraudulent psychics, palm readers, or astrology readings. They provide NO specifics, what so ever.

You are being played.

Anon 11:59 Praying for you!

@12:22
Are you really? Are you really going to or is that just a thinly veiled Attack at me when you have nothing else to say, don't have any other substantial arguments, and instead of admitting I'm right it's a way of you saying You win without having to present any argument whatsoever.

Do me a favor, don't pray. If you believe in a God that knows everything and has a plan for your life and everyone else's then your prayers are futile and won't affect anything. Don't pray, get up and actually do something. Prayer is the way for you to feel like you're doing something and think that you were doing something when in reality you were doing nothing.

You can have faith AND not be fooled by charlatans and false prophets. The Graham family and business should be treated as such.

11:59 and 12:41 Wow, why so angry about something you don't believe in? Christians pray because the bible instructs us to. The Graham family are Christians and although not perfect they are far from charlatans.
Your last sentence says "you can have faith"...faith in what?

Can we get a money back guarantee on those predictions? No one ever calls their bluff when this stuff doesn't happen.
She is just looking for a payday.

12:41...I do pray. I do believe in God, and I try to do things to help my community.

I'm sorry you're so angry. I hope you find peace.

I believe in God, and his coming back is very near. Everyone on here filled with hatred, you have a rude awakening come one day. I pray for you, that you find truth before it is too late.

Whether she's right or wrong doesn't matter. And her predictions of OTHER nations taking advantage of our "chaos"?
They won't have the time or energy --- the Bible says the whole world is in trouble when He returns.
Those who have faith are secure in that faith.
Those who have no faith? They are in for a VERY tough time. And yes, there will be a time for them where it will too late to say "I'm sorry!" - the Bible also says that all men will hear the word and they will be judged on their choices. To borrow a line from a famous movie, "choose wisely".

First of all, she's not going to sway "God's judgement" any more than you or I will be able to.

And the "Rapture" will be on His schedule, not Ms. Graham's.

Banks have closed, the stock market has fallen, planes have fallen out of the sky, and cars have crashed on the highways. Families have been torn apart.

All that is called history. It has already happened.

Will it keep happening? Yes! Every day!

And your point?

Oh, you need me to send you a check! I get it!

What a load of crap. The dementors are coming too, watch out!

When the "Rapture" comes, can I have your car?
