Rahm Emanuel hangs on to City Hall job in Chicago's mayoral runoff

Incumbent Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel celebrated Tuesday night a hard-fought victory in a tense run-off race against challenger Jesus 'Chuy' Garcia.

Emanuel, a former White House chief of staff notorious for his brusque management style, was forced to campaign furiously across the city to beat Cook County Commissioner Garcia after failing to capture a majority against four other candidates in a February election.

The mayoral runoff was the first since the city changed the way it conducts elections about 20 years ago.

just another criminal minded democratic mayor in a long line of Chicago crooks. No wonder is city is nicknamed "Chi-Raq". No lie, folks - literally hundreds of blacks are being killed every year due to Rahm not doing anything about gang/drug violence as it keeps his precious police employed with job security. HUNDREDS, mind you. He doesn't give a damn about anything but himself. He was a jerk as White House chief of staff as well.
