Over 900,000 Motorists Traveled Through Delawares Toll Plazas Thanksgiving

Dover -- The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) announces that during the five-day period 944,897 vehicle trips were counted at the I-95 Newark Plaza, Biddles Corner and Dover locations on Route 1. It is estimated that over $3 million in revenue was collected during the holiday at Delaware's toll plazas.

Free E-ZPass Transponder through December 31, 2014
The Delaware Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is announcing a promotion to make one part of your holiday activities easier. Customers opening a new individual E-ZPass account will receive a free transponder for their vehicle.

The free E-ZPass transponder promotion is open to residents of any state, and will end December 31, 2014. The goal of the free transponder offer for new account holders is to increase the E-ZPass utilization rates at Delaware toll sites on Route 1 and I-95. Commercial accounts and "On-the-Go" sales are not eligible for the free transponder.

Drove to son's house in Baltimore for Turkey, cost $14 in tolls. $4 each way harbor tunnel and $6 for the bay bridge. Only spent about $10 on gas. Just saying.
