Lower Shore Health Insurance Assistance Program

Snow Hill, Md. – The Lower Shore Health Insurance Assistance Program will be hostingHealthConnectNow on Saturday, November 22, 2014 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at theWicomico Youth and Civic Center in Salisbury.

The free enrollment fair isopen to the public and will feature health insurance enrollment, healthscreenings, activities, information, and snacks. Certified program staff andinsurance brokers will be on site to answer questions and guide consumersthrough the Maryland Health Connection application process. Maryland HealthConnection is the state-based health insurance marketplace for individuals,families, and small businesses.

Attendees are encouraged tosign up in advance but walk-ins are also welcomed. People may register byvisiting https://www.research.net/s/MHCeventregistration. Consumers can call 855-445-5540 for moreinformation.

Consumers can enroll onlinestarting November 19 using the all-new MarylandHealthConnection.gov.
