Between today's Daily Times letter to the editor and now this campaign release, Pollitt has overstepped his legal rights and is using taxpayer money to run his campaign.
The above bold letter information is only part of the entire press release. It's high time the citizens contact the attorney general's office as well as the election board.

Rick has no campaign so he is stooping to this. Brooks is not smart and should never have been hired by Pollitt. A waste of our money from day one.

IIRC, Hatch Act covers Federal employees only.
That said, there are a variety of campaign finance laws that may have been broken by OwePollitt's mouthpiece, and by Gannett's local loser product The Daily Times.
Brooks probably only has her county credit card as equity to pay a fine. Prince Pollitt has his beachfront mansion to borrow against for his fine, and even the diminished Gannett has some cash laying around.
Surely some attorney could use a fee for pursuing these violations.
The Hatch Act is a federal law. Hopefully there are state laws that makes this illegal. If nothing more, it shows just how low Rick will stoop.
Bring them both down.

Doesn't the county and city have ethics boards? Are they paying any attention at all? Or are they in the pocket of the administrations too? This makes me sick to my stomach. Pollitt will win because he can be controlled by the people downtown, the BOE and others, while we, the people, get the shaft. What G&G need to realize is that when what is left of the affluent tax base leaves, all of their projects will either go bust or have a very low class clientele. But hey, they are getting what they want now!
Tamara Brooks is the product of the Dumbocrats. Her job is a greenbag appointment to PAY BACK some campaign favor Politt owes to some entity that backed him in the first election. She serves no purpose as ANY department head and Politt included should have stones enough to make their OWN statements on any given topic. This job was created to have the latitude for Politt and others to say 'that statement was mis-information' when they realize they have f*$%&@d up. Brookes is a $50,000 a year catch all that keeps Politts' ass out of the fire.

Has anyone else noticed that Laura Mitchell and Josh Hastings signs are popping up all around the Sperry Van Ness property signs with Gillis and Gilkerson names on them?
Seems to me that the properties they are represented don't belong to the Gillis and Gilkerson family so they have no right to give Laura Mitchell and Josh Hasting permission to put their signs up. One prominent location is at the entrance to Woodbrooke Medical Park on Mt. Hermon Road.
Someone should contact the property owners and complain. Is this a violation?
The Wicomico County Good Old Boy System still operating at its peak performance. Lie, lie, lie and swear to it on a stack of Bibles. If any of them spoke a grain of truth I would be shocked. Their method of operation is tax and spend, tax and spend because more taxpayers are being born every minute.
Who. of all on here that are stunned, flabbergasted, in shock, know it is true, will actually report this abuse to the proper authorities for investigation?
Every day there are many postings and comments on here naming candidates who are breaking the law, naming officials who are robbing tax payers blind, are intoxicated 24/7, who abuse credit cards and so on, but no one bothers to report it to proper agencies for investigation. Why? Is it because you do not care, is it that you have little faith in accusations that has no proof to back it up, is it because you do not want to be involved?
If you are really concerned, report your concerns, file a FOIA form, ask for an investigation do something besides complaining on a blog. Even if every official in the USA read this blog, nothing will change until someone files a complaint and shows just cause for an investigation.
While I don't approve of what was done, Tamara is a good person doing what she is told.
The Daily Litter Box Liner has recently Laura Mitchell and Josh Hastings over the more qualified John Cannon and Larry Dodd. Wicomico County is circling the drain right now and this County will be in the sewer if those two get elect.
All Republicans, good Democrats and Independents need to get out and vote for John Cannon and Larry Dodd over those two liberal tree huggers. This County will never recover if the liberal majority take over the County Council.
