In a YouTube video that has gone viral, magician Rob Anderson walks up to a homeless U.S. Army veteran and rips his sign to pieces. If the video stopped there, it would be a despicable act.
Fortunately, it doesn’t. In fact, it gets much better.
Even as Alan McCracken watched a stranger destroy the sign he uses to collect money, he remained as respectful as you’d expect a military veteran to be.
“Can I keep the magic marker to make another sign?” McCracken asks in the video.

that was nice. I did something like that the other day. I wished really hard that the fake homeless man in north Salisbury didn't limp and two days ago I say him in Delmar with no limp..... now that was cool.
I saw a homeless person at the end of an exit ramp and wished the person wasn't homeless anymore.
The next day I saw them jump into a Lexus and drive home.
the fact its being videoed the whole time makes me questions its authenticity.
Videotaping a benevolent gesture does, in no way, detract from its authenticity. Rather, it sheds light on the pitiful conditions of our beloved veterans. These men deserve all the breaks they can get! Thank you, Rob Anderson, and may God bless you for sharing this marvelous event!
