The American Federation of Teachers is on track to spend $20 million on midterm elections this year – more than ever before – to target conservative governors and to help Democrats in Senate races that may determine control of the upper chamber.
The Senate races include those of Democrats Mark Begich bid in Alaska, Gary Peters in Michigan, and Al Franken's tighter-than-expected contest in Minnesota, BuzzFeed reports.

Way to go Gary, Kevin, and Stephanie. You really are focused on helping the teachers on the shore
I hope all the teachers would rather support these candidates than enjoy keeping the money under their own control.
Apparently WCEA needs a lot of guidance from Annapolis. Not smart enough to go it on their own
WCEA has a felon amongst their ranks. Very corrupt. Includes the breaking and entering of the headquarters and then being awarded with a wonderful position. Check into it Joe.
10:09, I think it might have gone to court but got dismissed due to politics and who the WCEA is endorsing.
Be careful investigating this one Joe. It might just put you in dangerous territory! WCEA members were even afraid to mention it anywhere.
