Manhunt in Pennsylvania After Deadly Ambush at Police Barracks

A late-night shooting during a shift change at a Pennsylvania State Police barracks left one trooper dead and another injured in a targeted ambush on the officers, sparking a multi-state search for the potential shooter or shooters.
One trooper was leaving the barracks in Pike County's Blooming Grove and another was arrived when shots were fired just before 11 p.m. Friday, State Police Commissioner Frank Noonan said. He confirmed that one trooper was killed and the other was injured and taken to Geisinger Medical Center in Scranton, where he was in stable condition.

Noonan said the attack seemed to be directed solely at state police.

"This has been an emotional night for all of us," he told reporters.

OMG... I hope and pray they find this person or persons who is/are doing this. Troopers are loved ones too. They are someones child, husband, wife, daughter, or son. Stop the madness!!

when they kill pets and innocent civilians, it's no big deal. sometimes they don't even apologize. a little bit of karma is what they NEED. no sympathy here.

everyone knows every time a kop is killed a big deal is made of it, and they keep a running tally. Never seen a running tally of the number of people killed each year by police. think maybe there would be a public outcry if they knew just how many of their fellow citizens are killed each year but the gestapo!
