White Men Lead The Army
That's the takeaway from a USA Today report on diversity in Army command. Fewer than 10 percent of active duty Army officers are black. There were no black colonels at the brigade level in 2014. Officials and military sociologists say this threatens the Army's effectiveness. The Army's chief of public affairs says they have an action plan. The goal is to expand the pool of minority officer candidates and help them choose the right jobs to climb the ranks.

OK here we go again , back to filling the spaces with minorities , are they suitable or qualified ?
It doesn't matter , just get em in there.
The military has gone to hell in a hand basket anyway. May as well be led by idiots with the commander and chief an idiot.
Our military has been our strength for success as a nation under GOD. We have always been the leader in the free world.
If white men lead the military , then so be it. Why fix it if it isn't broke .
However , in todays thinking , we will break it and blame it on someone else.
dawmn right
black is beautiful, and so is tan, but white is the color of the big boss man
you know it
Promotion by race, but not by leadership skills, is racism at its true definition.
No doubt, let's let people who didn't earn the rank the right way lead troops. Makes complete sense.
the Army had a stellar black man in leadership - Allen West - and they got rid of him for being a hero!
Commissioned Officers are required to complete coursework in a certain bracket of time in grade and if they don`t they`re out no matter what color they are.
Overseas in southeast Asia I was damn glad the officers that called the shots for our Company had a little on the ball as if they were incompetant I and my buds paid the bill with our asses. It was bad enough when things were down to a low roar and everyone trusted in, no matter how screwy HQ seemed, the competance of the batalion heirarcy. As you MAY have heard, the wearing of an Officers uniform isn`t the whole smear. Able to emprovize, adapt, and overcome while thinking on your feet is NOT an easy task more especially when the gambles you`re forced to take is with a mans sons` life.If you think its easy to tell family why their son isn`t going to come home, THINK AGAIN. I`m glad the command integrity that was intact during my service was. I owe my LIFE to it. Bob Aswell
Lets do the same for professional sports.
