Having been a book retailer in OC And selling local works for many years, I can assure you the book you purchased is not the same. There is another postcard book which retails for about $30 or a 2 part series available for about 18.99 each. Volume 1 is pre hurricane in 1933 and the other post.

The book retails for about $50.

$50? I wish you well but that is a stretch for many for a coffee table book.

Really 6:46? You must live in a cave. Check what coffee table books go for on Amazon.

Not to argue 7:37 but I checked Amazon to see if I did in fact live in a cave as you accused me of doing and the most expensive coffee table book was $25.69. I was only trying to make the point that as much as some might like to experience the book, it is expensive for many.

Things happen, and books are duplicated by both legal and illegal means.Strange things occur when money is involved.Case in point, not that it has anything to do with this issue is the story of Michael Rockefeller.A renowned researcher spent years investigating his 1961 disappearance in new Guinea. He wrote a best selling book entailing those findings.Just last week he found out that another researcher had done even a more complete investigation on MR 20+ years ago.The initial researcher had simply never published a book about it.
