Stay tuned - many more to come. Approximately $80,000 per year is being spent on food charges! Remember, it's all for the kids....even if many of these charges are for dates when school in not in session. Hmmmmm.... Interesting!

Not bad when a lot of the kids get FREE breakfast and lunch anyway. This is just awful and someone should go to jail. Is this still happening? Where is the States Attorney and other law enforcement on this?

There is a $56,000 salaried "public information officer" the County has, and they can't take the time to post this on the website? What?

9:07, Excellent point. They are doing everything they can to AVOID Salisbury News and more importantly YOU the taxpaying public.

Vote for Bob Culver in November.

Bennett gets around a lot!

JoeAlbero said...

9:10, Considering you say they get around a "LOT" means that you have been following these articles for quite some time.

That being said, you look pretty foolish when you know the names provided are simply the people who hold the card these purchases are being charged on and NOT the people who are actually out at these locations spending this money.

You seem to have a problem with this particular person but in the end YOU are the one looking like a fool.

Why are others using an assigned person's credit card?

If by chance" A's" credit card is proven to be misused," A" would have to prove the charges on the card were actually made by "B". Why would "A" lend her card to "B"?

Joe , thank you for keeping with this appalling stories! Would you happen to have an total amount of WASTED tax money up to this story ?

doesn't matter JOE, the SBY citizens rather be broke, taxed into slavery and to be paying the salaries of politicians who are actively taxing them to slavery, then let them... it is so funny how all these politicians spend, spend spend and vote themselves raises every single year while they add taxes for you (you means the people of sby) to pay to cover them... then you run your mouth complaining yet you won't help... SO STFU because you lost the right to speak when you failed to help fight it...

I for one WILL NOT HELP once shit hits the fan because I have tried, and tried and tried and whelp you can only try so much fro so long...

you can't fix stupid and you can't help the unwilling... So i say they will soon see what they will get... they will be crying at night scared because of the rioting and looting and wtf ever happens when civil unrest comes...

I will only try to protect family and friends and people who gave a damn to help stop this, the people who are part of this and complicit in this get nothing and deserve nothing...

The bible said you will die by the same way you live... "you live by the sword you die by the sword"...

So the people who don't care to help, will get no help in return...

The PIO position needs to go back to being half-time. This is not a job that requires a full day, every day.

One of today's charges that you have posted was a charge made for a school club - one that I run. All purchases made for schools need to go through a school credit card in order to be tax exempt (a requirement for schools) and then monies are transferred from the appropriate account to the card for payment. All money raised by groups/teams must be turned in to the school accountant and be placed in the appropriate club account prior to disbursement for auditing purposes. We can't just raise money and spend it as we see fit... There must be accountability! The money spent on this particular charge was raised by students for a celebration - they worked HARD at raising this money and now it is posted as a blatantly, excessive, expenditure? Really??? There is no way to just go out and buy anything without going through the appropriate steps. There are more to these charges than meets the eye... Give it a rest, please???...

anonymous 11:01, You stated, "One of today's charges"... We have provided hundreds of charges over the past EIGHTEEN weeks and finally ONE person gets on here to defend ONE charge.

Now, you tell me, are you trying to say this isn't abusive???

Do you have ANY comment on Back Street Grill or ALL of the other BARS we have provided over the last few months?

YOU need to give it a rest and respect ALL of the other charges we have delivered.

I'll add, Wicomico County taxpayer money being spent in Worcester County???

Unfortunately many of our Wicomico County principals and key administration feel as if they need to provide food for their parents to attend school events and PTA functions. And the fact that the "not so well behaved" children are getting rewarded for completing MSA and other testing during the school year is insane. The kids that are typically good, follow directions and act respectful to the staff aren't bribed to attend testing week and "do their best" so they can get a special lunch bought for them...So glad my years in this school system are winding down!

Just noticing that the name appears frequently

1:53 is right. If all of these bribes worked to change behavior, they wouldn't be needed every single year from K through high school. Same for the legions of behavior interventionists who see no improvement in kids' behavior year after year. Why continue programs that make no difference?

" There is no way to just go out and buy anything without going through the appropriate steps."

Have you ever heard of paying cash for it?

It's the entitlement way of thinking for black folks.

I agree with you that my kids have been in school all of these years and I have yet been rewarded for them being in Magnet and Gate and scoring highly on the required testing. As a matter of fact we have never gotten any special accolades.

The entitlement Thugs get to play their sports all year round. Can you guess what sport that is. I will give you 3 guess and I bet you get it right. 1) Basketball, 2) Basketball, 3) Basketball. Please pick the correct sport.

If you guessed basketball you would be correct. They get to play basketball year round in elementary and middle school and my kids get to play nothing they like. They get to play competitive basketball in Middle School as well as STARS basketball and my kids aren't even invited. What about competitive baseball, softball, field hockey or lacrosse for these kids in Middle School.

Wicomico County Public Schools are racist and they only cater to black kids. Black kids get 3 meals a day free of charge(to them). Nothing is free and us white folks have to pay for it.
