Additional Charges Filed in Red Lion Chase Investigation

Bear - After continued investigation and review, Delaware State Police Detectives have filed additional charges in connection to a Trooper being shot in his protective body armor, during a search warrant execution at a residence in Red Lion Chase, Bear last Wednesday.

John E. Greenlee-50 turned himself in to State Police Detectives at Troop 2 earlier this morning to face 9 additional charges in connection with the incident. He was charged with Assault 2nd Degree, Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Felony, and Reckless Endangering 1st Degree (7 counts).

John E. Greenlee was arraigned and released after posting $42,501.00 Secured Bond.

He shot a cop, ran away and was released.

IIRC they had a warrant for his son. When they served it at the suspected residence the father, pictured above, opened fire. The son is still at large.
