WASHINGTON - Two Maryland communities are considered among the snobbiest places in the U.S.
But for the real estate bloggers at Movoto.com, snobby can be a good thing. It can mean a higher number of art galleries, high median income level, higher percentages of residents with a college degree, more private schools per capita and higher median home prices.
That could be a good thing for a particular home shoppers, according to the blog.
"It's okay to have refined tastes in life. Knowing a Cabernet from a Merlot is nothing to be ashamed of," according to the blog. "Here at the Movoto Real Estate Blog, we're a bit snobby ourselves, especially when it comes to houses."
