Hogan: Eliminate Income Tax On Military Pensions

OCEAN CITY, Md. (AP) - Republican Larry Hogan says he would push to eliminate Maryland’s income tax on military pensions, if he is elected governor.

Hogan spoke Wednesday to the Maryland American Legion’s annual convention in Ocean City.

He says veterans deserve much better than they have been getting from the state and federal government.

Here's a better idea - eleminate income tax for everyone!

I have to disagree with Larry on this one. Although I have the highest respect for all our men serving their country, I also have the highest respect for all people working toward making the US a better place, whether they be doctors, lawyers, (cough) bakers, miners, construction workers, retail owners and employees and all the rest.

You can't pick and choose making one group "more equal" than others, or more elite, either.

We all are carrying our Constitution, and deserve the same treatment.
