Incident: Assault

Date of Incident: 19 June 2014

Location: 30000 block of Johnson Road, Salisbury, MD

Narrative: On 19 June 2014 at 10:51 PM a deputy responded to a residence in the 30000 block of Johnson Road for a reported domestic related altercation. Upon arrival, the deputy met with a female subject who reported that she had been assaulted by Michael Drury. During the investigation of the incident, the deputy observed signs of injury allegedly inflicted by Drury.

The investigating deputy located Drury walking on Johnson Road and placed him under arrest for the assault. Drury was transported to the Central Booking Unit where he was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. After an initial appearance, the Commissioner detained Drury in the Detention Center in lieu of $7,500.00 bond.

Charges: Assault 2nd Degree

Incident: Theft of Motor Vehicle

Date of Incident: 19 June 2014

Location: 1000 block of Beaglin Park Dr., Salisbury, MD

Suspect: Kenneth Malik Bonner, 18, Salisbury, MD

Narrative: On 19 June 2014 at 2:07 AM a deputy responded to the report of a stolen vehicle from the parking lot of an apartment complex in the 1000 block of Beaglin Park Drive. Upon arrival, the deputy met with the victim who reported that he discovered his vehicle missing when he went to retrieve something from it. While on scene investigating, the deputy observed the stolen vehicle drive into the parking lot. As the deputy approached, the operator, who would be identified as Kenneth Bonner, fled from the vehicle and managed to temporarily elude the deputy.

The victim knew Bonner as he had been in the victim’s apartment earlier that evening.

The deputy located Bonner in a different apartment complex nearby and placed him under arrest. Following an appearance in front of the District Commissioner, Bonner was detained in the Detention Center in lieu of $10,000.00 bond.

Michael must have released almost immediately because I saw him early the next morning.So much for a cooling off period.
