275 troops with Iraqi military terrified and deserting. You're going to end up with 200 dead soldiers and every detainee in Guantanamo traded along with an F-35 fighter plane and 50lbs weapons grade Uranium for the remaining 75. That's if they don't chop their heads off and put it on Youtube.

Even to protect the embassy, not enough in number. & besides, I thot I read the embassy was evacuated. If it wasn't, it should be. (I kinda like the idea of sending Chelsea over there.)
LOL x3. Ok, so on one hand, if the US embassy staffed is attacked/taken hostage, "Obama is a POS that won't lift a finger to protect americans". But if Obama sends troops in specifically to help protect the US embassy, "Obama is a POS who doesn't want to protect Americans". Ok, I get it now.
841, seems to me if Bush's power of perception was so strong, we would still have Saddam in power keeping extremists forces in check instead of creating a 10 yr live fire excercise for them at the cost of several thousand US lives and a trillion dollars.

Just get Americans out of Iraq. Who cares about the embassy. Bring home everyone and be done with Iraq. To send 275 troops to try and protect it is just plain stupid.
Troops are required to wear bedroom slippers and/or flip-flops that way no one can accuse him of lying when he insisted "no boots on the ground"!
