Spain considering laws that would FORCE children to do chores

If it is passed, children in the country will have to help out with the housework 'in accordance with their age and regardless of their gender'.

They will also have to 'participate in family life' and respect 'their parents and siblings', Spain's ABCnewspaper reported.

The Child Protection Bill children would also have to 'respect school rules' and 'study as required'.

Obviously Spain has identified that parents can no longer parent and now have to make laws for children to do what I feel is expected of them.

Kuddo's to them.

I don't think this is socialism, common sense maybe.

AMERICA SHOULD DO THIS!!!!!

It's a shame it's come to the point where parents aren't in control. There shouldn't have to be a law concerning a matter a parent should be able to control.

The American society started its downfall when we lost the valuable time at the dinner table. When mom had to take a job to make ends meet the family circle suffered greatly. As simple of a thing as dinner time seemed it was a very strong part of what family is. The man no longer had total control(which he shouldnt) and mom out in the world found some self worth and pride in herself they may have not been there before. Now she is exposed to other males at the work place and low and behold before long its lunch at the Temple Hill. The beginning of the end of the circle. Where are we now? Kids feed themselves while watching TV or playing video games. I quess that nice new car or boat was more important.
