Too bad we could have used a real conservative candidate.

It took every stop that McConnell could pull off, including offering Rand Paul senate committee position for his endorsement. It is very, very difficult to defeat an encumbent.
My hat is off to Bevin for giving it a try. He definitely brought McConnell more to the right.

And now he will swing quickly left to fend off Grimes.

We need to support him over the Democrat.

Regardless, at this point all Republicans need to rally around him and re-elect him...unless someone can show that he would be worse than the Democrat he is running against!

Yes, I would much rather have Matt Bevin in that seat - but would the mainstream Republicans have backed him in the general election - or would they let the Democrat win? Just look at Virginia for an example of the mainstream Republicans losing a seat because it would have gone to a Tea Party candidate.

God help us! Can't believe he was reelected! A slightly left of center Rino establishment jerk. I have loss hope for this country!

You can expect the same in Maryland with the primary on June 24th. June is when most people like to take a vacation and early voting or absentee ballots are to much work for some people.
