A beautiful remembering of a wonderful effort by Americans with a mission to take care of their own.
Each sailor, soldier and marine got something to connect them to the people and the country that loved and cared for them as they went off to battle, many of them never to return to these shores.
I'm starting to believe that is an America that we'll never see again.
