Virginia-launched Spacecraft Meets Its End On The Moon

Shortly after midnight one morning this month, the spacecraft launched last year from Virginia ended its mission to the moon by crashing into the lunar surface, authorities said.

The unmanned craft, which launched Sept. 6 from Wallops Island on the Atlantic coast, struck the far side of the moon at about 3,000 mph, said Rick Elphic, a NASA scientist working on the project.

NASA said it has confirmed that the crash, which had been planned, occurred between 12:30 a.m. and 1:22 a.m. Eastern time on April 18. On Earth, such an impact could be expected to make enough of a bang to rouse many of those asleep at the time.

Go ahead and kick that hornets nest.NASA knows good and well that an alien race occupies our moons' dark side.THEY are precisely why WE stopped sending humans there.Expect retalliation.

While I do not agree with 10:58 it is only because of lack of proof. However I am certainly open to it as a possibility.

When I was a kid we could land on the moon now all they can do is crash.

Poster of 11:33 AM here:

I just want to point out the difference in I said and what you think I said.

First I know that I don't know. That is a step that most people still don't understand. We don't know much for certain. Thats a simple fact.

Second how do you know anything when you clearly know nothing? Well its called being open to new ideas when they come along.

Third no matter how incredibly unlikely the idea of aliens living on the moon is its still a possibility.

In an infinite universe there are infinite possibilities. You only have to compare the last 100 years to many science fiction novels. What was a dream yesterday is a reality tomorrow.

So stop acting like you know everything, you only point out how closed minded you are. And as I said we all know very little for certain beyond what's on our planet.

Being open minded with the ability to be rational is key here. But still, I doubt that there is intelligent life on the moon.
