Really? Maybe it's because you all keep electing Democrats and all they do is help put other democrats in positions REGARDLESS of whether or not they are qualified. MJ has my family's vote. I want the person who best represents us not who a certain group favors.

Because they can control him. That's all the qualification needed for any kind of government appointment. Who will listen and obey willingly and without question.
I truly believe the Dems are in serious trouble. Our City/County have been controlled by a Democratic administration and we have been in a full blown DEPRESSION ever since 2008. In my humble opinion, I firmly believe our residents are going to finally say; 'We Have Had Enough' So I'm predicting a blow-out come election time - and MJ will be our newly elected Circuit Court Judge.

9:53 is correct. "They" are going to choose a judge who when the need arises (and it will), will see things "their" way. A judge who will legislate on the bench when needed to.
That's all the qualifications needed. Being a Yes Master kind of person.
they need a democrat so that when all their democratic allies get charged with wrongdoing the judge will go lightly!
If you have been paying attention you might have noticed that Tony has been doing all the work for Little Spyros. Little Spyros was to good to take the time to go to the Volunteer Fireman's Association Meeting last week so Tony went there and spoke on his behalf.
MJ got the most votes period and Spyros got the most UNQUALIFIED votes PERIOD!!
Speaks volumes for Marty O'Malley and the vile Democrats.

It's standard procedure for a democratic governor to appoint a democratic judge. If the reverse were the case, I doubt as many of you would be whining.
OweMalley's choice was strictly driven by last name and political connections. Period!!
Any concern that the citizens get the best possible judge to hear and adjudicate disputes and crimes never entered his noggin.
Recall that OweMalley's wife is the daughter of a former Attorney General and that she was made a judge, too.
OweMalley's appointee went to the law school in DE that had SlowJoe Biden as an adjunct faculty member so he certainly had a chance to learn from the best :)

Standard procedure? Give me a break you Moron.
Let's put it this way Governor Ehrlich put who he thought was best for the position, not strictly to tow the party line like ALL Democrats do.
The best of the bunch (and Delmar's attorney), Bob Benson, withdrew from consideration when he saw that Sarbanes applied -- Bob knew he didn't have any chance
due to Democrat politics.
There have been judges appointed to the bench in the recent past that did not draw any attention because they did not have "recognizable" names. No one complained then. You are your own worst enemy. A small town that gossips and complains rather than stepping up to the plate and doing something to change your situation.
