A New York City woman who longed to be a mother wasn’t going to let a reoccurring tumor rob her of her miraculous bundle of joy.
So, when doctors told Elizabeth Joice, 36, and husband Max that Elizabeth had two options — either terminate her pregnancy and begin cancer treatments or give birth to a child doctors said would never be and risk the cancer metastasizing — the choice was clear.
Elizabeth chose life for her daughter.

Every now and then I re watch the 1997 version of Titanic.I would have gladly given up a seat in a lifeboat to a child who had just started his or her life.This act was equally noble.
