It’s a Loss in Md: 73K Lose Insurance; 60K Enroll on Exchange

CNSNews.com) – The head of the Maryland Health Insurance Exchange testified Thursday before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee that only 60,000 people have signed up for Obamacare through the state’s exchange - 13,000 less than the number of individuals reported to lose their insurance due to Obamacare.

“According to our reports, according to AP, press accounts, 73,000 individuals in Maryland were going to lose their insurance because of the Affordable Care Act, and what you’re telling me is your revised goal is approximately the same number – 75,000. So your revised goal of people you’re gonna sign up is: We’re gonna sign up the people who were kicked off of the Affordable Care Act,” Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) said.

If people were surprised by this we should give them an IQ test...unless they're Democrats - then you just say "ya - I understand".

For real 10:04-something's wrong in the head with democrats. Has to be.
I'm still waiting for the $2500/yr savings Obama assured us we were going to get.
Since obamacare was passed my insurance has regularly increased and the reason given "the Affordable Care Act." I pay for a year's worth and just got notice I owe them more money because "due to the ACA....." it's increased again. My insurance which was excellent and covered way much more than I ever used like a lot of the diagnostics, has more than tripled. I don't need any drugs and had only used the prescription plan maybe 3 times in 30 years for antibiotics. I've never been hospitalized and don't see a doctor on a regular basis so maybe I've used the insurance 1/2 dozen times in 30 years.
